Schetssessie PostApoc B 01

The rendering of the female form is top notch so I'm mostly going to stick to how the images made me feel.

I find the pairing of the fully-clothed military man with the naked-yet-armed woman an interesting contrast. I think that if one were to spend time analyzing (over-analyzing?), all kinds of allusions could be made to the attitude of men toward women in our society; the feeling of women in an admittedly male-dominated (but changing!) society.

I also think that giving a naked woman weapons is interesting. On the one hand you're exposing the woman thus suggesting vulnerability but then you arm her which suggests the opposite. The women are also holding the weapons like they know what they're doing with them, which again weighs on the side of being less vulnerable than at first blush.

The bottom-left woman I think I find the most interesting representation. She is completely exposed except for her face - completely open and yet still anonymous.
